INSIGHT VIEW
Giotto INSIGHT VIEW - because you deserve Image Quality!
MLO images of dense breasts. The
glandular tissue is predominant in this
breast, but the image is clear giving a
definite impression of a normal structure
well penetrated by x-rays, where it is
possible to distinguish between adjacent
densities.
MLO images of breasts with implants. The significant result given by “Giotto Insight View” is simultaneous optimization of all components of the image, the less dense, like skin tissue, and the most opaque, like the implants. No need to waste time modifying the W/L: from the default image you can see all abnormalities in the breast and in the axilla. At the same time you can check the integrity of the implant avoiding further images.
Improve detection using a powerful software solution.
No doubt: Image Quality is the absolute key to achieving early detection of breast cancer.
This is why most of our efforts are dedicated to image quality improvement in dense breasts and breasts
with implants. The perfect image does not exist, but it is our duty to as much as possible to get close
to perfection.
So we created “Giotto Insight View”: the most advanced breast image processing algorithm. An algorithm able to highlight the smallest detail without losing any other information. “Giotto Insight View” is able to optimize simultaneous visualization of the skin line, glandular tissue and the axillary muscle.
The contrast resolution inside the dense tissues is greatly enhanced enabling the radiologist to visualize the smallest detail.
The implementation of this advanced algorithm increases the dynamic range, especially in dense tissues, boosting the contrast resolution in these challenging areas.
“Giotto Insight View” sharpens the visibility of lesions, microcalcifications and masses, making the task of the radiologist faster and more accurate.
How does it work?
Images of the same portion of the breast without the “Giotto Insight View” (image a) and with “Giotto Insight View” (image b).
It is evident that the algorithm amplifies the contrast resolution making the most of the “peaks” of higher contrast.
